Jason Manke was elected as the Department of Michigan VFW Auxiliary Sr. Vice President for the 2025-2026 year. Jason is a member of Mecwarf Auxiliary #5319 in Athens, where he joined in 2015 and he currently holds a Life Membership. Jason joined the organization under the eligibility of his father Frank, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

Jason has served in numerous chairmanships on the Auxiliary, District and Department levels of our organization. He served as Auxiliary President in 2018-2019 and District President in 2018-2019 and 2021-2022. Jason and his wife (Sara) served as National Color Bearer's for National President Peggy Haake and Jean Hamil. Jason Served as National Assistant Conductor for National President Jane Reape.

Jason is married to Past Department President Sara. Their Courtship started in the VFW, and they now have been married for 21 years.
